Contract Manager / Supervisor

Maintenance/Facilities Services Department

Location - Portsmouth, Hampshire

Salary £30,000 to £40,000 (Dep on Exp) plus Company Car

A successful privately owned commercial facilities business, delivering mechanical & electrical and building fabrications works to private and public-sector customers.

You must have proven knowledge and understanding of what is involved in a successful Facilities Services based contract, and lead the continuous development of the relationship with the client and associated contract specialists.

We are looking for someone who is professional and confident in a client facing environment and can communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Typical 'everyday tasks’ you would be involved with include (but not limited to):
•Planning and managing of reactive and planned maintenance works which could include database and advanced excel spreadsheet manipulation and reporting. Quoting works giving detailed breakdowns and possible exclusions and limitations
•Monitoring budgets and contract financials
•Dealing with technical escalation from engineers and clients
•Client liaison and communication and formal weekly, monthly, quarterly meetings which would include presenting
•Delegation of tasks to staff and supervision of those task to deadlines and monitoring progress
•Managing and motivation of people and basic human resource issues including motivation.
•Health and safety management and promotion of positive attitude to H&S
•Managing accuracy of job information via the helpdesk
