We have an outstanding opportunity for a Care Manager to work across two of our Retirement Villages in Birmingham; Hagley Road Village and Longbridge Village to join our Birmingham Cluster Team. We are offering a highly competitive salary of between £40,000 and £45,000 per annum, dependent on level of experience, plus excellent benefits. This is a full time, 37.5 hours per week, permanent role, with some weekend working included. 

You will be responsible for maintaining existing care hours and securing additional business, managing between 1500 and 2000 hours of care and support that residents will be receiving, as well as developing individual care plans to ensure optimum levels of independence are achieved in our state of the art ExtraCare Villages. You will develop domiciliary care business, including negotiating with social services and private funders. You will also be the Registered Manager with CQC for the care services.

You will become a valued member of our Birmingham Cluster Team, supported by both established and newly recruited care staff, working alongside Village Managers on site at both locations. You will be required to take the lead in the management of care and support services, as well as the supervision of all care staff, to ensure that performance and quality is monitored and that the service is performing to CQC standards.

As part of this role, you will be required to implement staff rotas, recruitment and selection, as well as attend meetings centered on the evaluation of the services being provided to residents and their families.

You should have experience of branch management within a DCA environment and possess a strong customer service ethic. This is an exciting role, so you should possess strong communication and leadership qualities, with an excellent track record of people management. A QCF level 4, RMA or LMCS qualification would be preferable.
