Optometrist role

This is a 40 hour 5 day per week opportunity with a fast growing optical group situated in a busy location in the Great Yarmouth area.
This practice is situated in a prime location with its own parking for team members and local to all amenities in the area.
The store has a strong team of up to 8 with a qualified practice manager and dispensing assistants.
They have very good footfall and although majority of clients are NHS this is not a hard sell environment. They are a family values driven group with a patient focused team who have the same ethos to deliver the highest levels of customer care possible.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

Testing to 20 minute appointments
Undertake contact lens fittings and aftercare appointments.
Offer expert advice and suggesting recommendations to assist the customer
Taking ownership of your clinic diary with assistance from the practice manager
Be prepared to come out of the test room to be a face of the business

Requirements of the Optometrist

GOC registered and full CET accredited
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable undertaking contact lens work
Able to work Saturday with 4 further days in the week, (to be discussed and agreed at interview)

Compensation for the Optometrist

For this full time role my client is offering a competitive salary of up to £58,000 basic and a strong overall package. You will also have the opportunity to complete your continuous learning.
