Reed Sales are recruiting for an FMCG Food Service Sales Exectutive, on behalf of their client, to be based at their head office in Norfolk.

With an enviable product portfolio and brand leading gourmet snack range of healthier products, I am looking for someone to share a vision and ambition to become a major European snack food company by giving snacking consumers the opportunity to enjoy their diverse product range, wherever, 24/7.

The primary aim of this role is to support and assist the Food service BDM by carrying out the following tasks :

- Contract Catering - Liaising with the sector heads & marketing contacts across all sectors, creating joint business plans to drive distribution & awareness of new & existing products.
- Vending - Embedding yourself within the vending world, creating joint business plans with Regional Vending Operators both existing and new.
- Higher Education – Initially working with the top universities. Gain relationships with all operators within retail & on-trade. (NUS, TUCO, Contract Catering, University owned)
- Activating local activities/promotions across all & attending trade shows & sampling.

Key Accountabilities

• Drive sales
across Food Service, Higher Education & Vending by increasing distribution points, activating local activity & promotions and driving awareness of the Brands.
• Build lasting relationships
with key contacts across all sectors and create a network within.
• Local activity/promotions
across all sectors to tie in with National projects, NPD launches and Key Trading Periods.
• Higher Education project –
Targeting top Universities across the country covering all sectors within this - CC, NUS & Vending.
• Work with Marketing
& the ‘Campus Project team'
• Create joint business plans
with existing Regional Vending operators and liaise with the overarching organisations to gain new contacts and leads.
• Attend sampling & Networking events –
representing the brand & gaining new leads.
• Regular case studies
to show impact of activations
• New Business Opportunities –
seek new business opportunities at all times
• Feedback
market information and support new product launch plans

• Proven sales track record
• Experience in creating JBP’s desirable but not essential
• Strong organisational skills and a self starter
• Able to manage own time effectively to get the most out of time on the road
