This client is a multiple award winning Top 100 Accountancy Practice with stand out growth based in Central London.

This role will be split approximately into 50% accounts, 25% audit and 25% project based and consultancy work.

Due to the nature of media clients this role will allow you to really act as a personal advisor and work very closely with your clients. You will be involved in not only the advisory aspects of accounts and technical auditing but also project based work such as; budgeting, business planning, share schemes, forecasting, increasing revenue and even events planning.

Because of their international network they also offer secondments to countries such as Australia, Germany and the US for employees who prove their ability and interest in this.

Description

Reporting to the Media Partner and acting as a number two to the Partner.

The role will be split approximately into 50% accounts, 25% audit and 25% project based and consultancy work.

Partnering with clients across media, entertainments, theatre and film.

Be comfortable working in a client-facing environment, show willingness to work as part of a team and an ability to manage workload to meet deadlines.

Review and preparation of Financial Statements.

Consolidation of group accounts often of production companies.

Supervise, train and mentor less experienced members of the team including ACA trainees.

Appraise other members of the team following completion of assignments.

Assist others with financial statement preparation through supervision, guidance and review.

Take an active role in the continuous enhancement of the firm's practices.

You may also gain exposure to UK subsidiaries of foreign companies if this of interest to you.

Most of their clients are based in Zone 1 and 2, Central London so you will not have to travel too much for your work; giving you a very strong work/life balance.

Be respectful of compliance and familiar with the laws and regulations that apply to accounting and audit.

You will be responsible for the planning of the audit file right through to the completion sections including drafting the financial statements, the management letter and the letter of representation

Be an active and responsible team member both on site and in the office.

Profile

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified or Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA
  • Minimum 12 months experience in Audit and Accounts within an accountancy practice
  • Technical skills in both audit and accounts production are essential
  • Ambitious, diligent worker who enjoys working as part of a team
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience of working with packages such as CaseWare/Pro-Audit/CCH/Sage/Xero is an advantage
  • Foreign language skills would be of interest to this client
  • Interest in the media and entertainments sector.
  • Interest in getting involved in consultancy and project management work.

Job Offer
