Exclusive High Profile General Manager Needed, Destination Bar Venue Up to £45,000 + Up to £10,000 Service Charge, City Areas

My client is one of the most prestigious high profile destination bars in London. With a number of big spenders and high end clientele, it is the "in" place to be. The bar offers great food snacks, fantastic specialised fine wines, spirits, cocktails and champagne menu and is a hot spot for their high profile clientele. With a number of high end cocktails and fine wines & champagnes, it is a place to be seen. They are currently looking for a high profile General Manager to join the existing team to take the business to the next level. The company puts alot of emphasis on enjoying work and gives excellent rewards for good results.

The benefits of the role includes a competitive salary of up to £45,000 with an excellent service charge structure which is easily achievable of up to £10,000 + other benefits.

As a High End General Manager, you duties will include:

  • Managing a core team of over 40 staff members
  • Profit & loss accountable including cost control and gross profit margins
  • Focusing on the teams development and service standards
  • A good understanding working with fine wines and fresh cocktails
  • Working alongside the F&B Manager
  • Dealing with licensing laws
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines & spirits
  • Commercially aware of current trends and markets
  • Able to deal with Senior Directors

The Ideal candidate will be:

  • An experienced Bar Manager with at least 2/3 years experience working in a very fast paced high end hotel environment
  • Understanding all about cocktail creations and drinks
  • Experience in working with blue chip and independent companies
  • Good understanding of stock control
  • Experience with licensing laws
  • Must have high volume experience of over £40,000 per week minimum
  • Be able to manage large teams of over 40 in total
  • Personal Licence holder
  • Good understanding about cocktail creations
  • Be able to work different shift patterns
  • Experience working towards targets
  • Focus on attention to detail
  • Dealing with senior Managers and Directors
  • Passionate about quality cocktails and wines and spirits
  • Friendly and upbeat personality

Ideally you will be comfortable working in a funky, high end fast moving hotel bar or high end establishment which is extremely popular and always buzzing. A great attention to detail is needed along with the passion and energy of working in the high quality bar industry within a similar high end establishment.
