MarketReach - We believe in the power of 1 to 1 communications to build customer relationships. Think of us as the mail experts. Through research, insight and experience, we prove and promote the value of mail, and enable clients and their agencies to realise the value in their own businesses.
We have an exciting opportunity to join MarketReach in the role of Insight Manager, conducting cutting edge research central to the strategic agenda of this commercially focused division of Royal Mail.
About the role
Working alongside the Senior Insight Manager and Head of Insight, you’ll execute and deliver best in class research and insight projects designed to persuade clients of the power and value of mail to communicate with consumers and businesses, and aid media agencies, planners, and brands in understanding how to get better results using mail as a medium.
With exceptional time management skills and the ability to multi-task effectively, you’ll lead and run complex market research and insight projects to time, quality and budget requirements. You’ll ensure our data is accurate and fit for purpose, checking and verifying statistics and data we use in our campaign and sales material. In addition, you’ll be a key point of contact for data queries.
Numerically astute and analytical, you’ll have the ability to draw on, and interpret findings from other insight projects. Knowledge of key media industry tools such as TGI, TouchPoints, Nielsen, or Ebiquity would therefore be an advantage, but not essential. Commercially astute, flexible in your approach and passionate about mail as a medium, you’ll have excellent communication and influencing skills and be able to deliver compelling research results, utilising your exceptional ability to communicate complicated research issues in a clear and professional manner.
Experience in scoping, running and interpreting a wide range research projects, including advanced qualitative and quantitative techniques, brand and media mix modelling, and econometrics is desirable, particularly if you can demonstrate these have been applied in a media planning or brand development context.
Five centuries in business has made Royal Mail more than a household name. We connect companies, customers and communities across the country, delivering a ‘one-price-goes-anywhere’, universal postal service to more than 29 million addresses across the UK.
Our market is changing, but as a FTSE 100 organisation we are focused on achieving our vision of being recognised as the best delivery company in the UK and across Europe. We want to be more commercial, flexible and efficient and are employing our strong brand and a range of new products and services to achieve this.
We are an inclusive employer with equality, diversity and fairness at the heart of our values. We welcome applications from individuals from all different backgrounds and are committed to promoting fair participation and equality of opportunity for all of our job applicants.
