Manpower Plymouth is working on behalf of one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defence products that are currently looking for a Process Engineer to join their manufacturing team on a permanent, full time basis. Based on the outskirts of Plymouth, your new business has become a major supplier internationally to space programs, designs and manufacturers software for guidance and control and also provides solutions for commercial, business and military aircraft. They have grown exponentially over the last few years and now is an excellent time for project planners in the South West to join a business that shows no sign of slowing down.

About the job:
As Process Engineer you will play a pivotal role within the manufacturing team, introducing and maintaining production processes within the organisation ensuring robustness within manufacturing whilst introducing your own techniques to achieve first time yields whilst also driving quality and cost improvements within the department.
Throughout your day you will ensure that all control plans, process flows and routings are in place for all products, monitoring any trends and implement continuous improvement plans from your analysis. Furthermore you will be able to employ robust RRCA techniques to address production escapes and turn backs.

About the ideal candidate:
To be successful in this post as Process Engineer, you will be able to demonstrate similar experience in your previous or current job roles. You will be an excellent communicator and comfortable liaising across all levels within the organisation. Ideally you will be a degree/HND qualified candidate within an engineering discipline. Furthermore we would really be interested in speaking with candidates from a civil aviation industry and anybody with EASA Part 145 certification however other backgrounds would of course be considered.

Additional Information:
Salary - Up to £35,000 depending on skills and experience
