About the role
You will work with Internal stakeholders and GBI Business Partners on delivering new requirements for web applications. You will design, develop, test and deploy solutions against often complex business requirements which change the way the business operate.
You will contribute to all of GBIs web application development projects, ensuring they are implemented in a consistent and technically excellent way. You will also be involved in the enhancements of recently deployed GBI web applications, ensuring that they remain fit for purpose and respond to change requests in an effective manner.
You will input into planning and estimation in agile framework to fulfil the requirements backlog. You will also as well as providing relevant documents/ outputs of internal procedures and drive continual Improvements to standard reporting and user functionality.
You will be a champion for exceptional User Experience. All the products you produce will be intuitive and in line with Royal Mail standards.
You will have a strong track record of feature level design, development and testing of architecturally robust and scalable technical solutions.
You will boast expert level knowledge of micrsoft .net we application specifically MVC and will be expert in user experience design and evidence of creating great front-end design for users, supported by expert knowledge in client-side scripting languages.
You will have expereince of working in an agile environment (SCRUM) to deliver products as well as be proficient in gathering and elaborating stakeholder requirements.
You will have a Bachelors degree in computer science (or equivalent).
This Role can be based in either Chesterfield or London
