I am currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established market leader of industrial consumables This ever growing organisation are currently recruiting for an experienced sales office manager, to motivate and manage a team of around 12 internally based sales people.

The post holder is responsible for -

  • The management of a team of internal sales people
  • Identify and address issues, deal with these applying Groups HR Policies
  • Recruitment when needed and training
  • Daily team meetings
  • Set targets and objectives for all team members and manage against the set criteria
  • The management of large key account customers on a daily basis
  • Ensuring all daily, weekly, monthly tasks are completed on time
  • Advising on pricing and sourcing of special products
  • The management of reports
  • Manage customer back orders, queries
  • Building a strong relationship with customers, to ensure all business is obtained
  • Drive sales including Pro-active calls on a daily basis
  • Customer records must be monitored and updated by the team
  • Monitor and report on quotations and new business conversion
  • Liaising with other departments to provide solutions - purchasing and warehouse

The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

  • Previous experience in a sales environment
  • Must have a strong management back ground
  • Desire to drive and deliver excellent customer
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident and self motivated
  • Drive the team to complete all tasks and ensure they are complete
  • Previous experience in team training
  • Excellent attention to detail
