A successful eCommerce start-up have experienced rapid growth and now have a fantastic role available as they are looking to recruit their first Web Analyst. You will have full ownership for analytics within the business across digital and offline channels - which will involve working closely with the CRM and marketing team. You will work across three separate business areas as an internal consultant; providing detailed analysis and insight into digital performance, as well as recommending changes to the site to optimise the customer experience. As the owner for Google Analytics within the business, you will be responsible for tagging on the site, so some prior experience is highly beneficial?

As a Web Analyst in this role, you will use Google Analytics daily to deliver regular and ad-hoc reports relating to the performance of the business' website. You will define and track key metrics relating to business performance and must be able to clearly communicate your findings with senior stakeholders throughout the business. Alongside the insight focus in this role, you will have the option to develop an optimisation program to run A/B and multi-variate tests.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong digital analytics experience, a track record using Google Analytics
  • Proven experience delivering analytical insight to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, using analytics to have a commercial impact on the wider business
  • Experience leading digital optimisation programs, A/B and multi-variate testing from design - delivery
  • A motivated self-starter, capable of working independently to meet deadlines
