I am thrilled to be working with this Alternative Provision School that believes that young people should be offered access to high quality provision, the acquisition of relevant and meaningful skills, knowledge, qualifications and experiences that will increase life chances and aid economic inclusion for young people outside the mainstream school system.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced subject specialist to work as part of the team delivering the Maths GCSE curriculum. They are seeking to strengthen their staff team with the addition of a Maths teacher with a proven track record of working with the Key Stage 4 Maths curriculum.

They offer an alternative curriculum including Maths, English, Media and ICT.

The successful candidate will be resilient and resourceful with the ability to deal with challenging situations in a calm non-confrontational manner and be prepared to adapt and change strategies in a constantly changing classroom. This is a unique opportunity to join a successful school delivering a full GCSE qualification in a genuinely alternative environment. In addition, there are opportunities to contribute to a range of personal and social development activities and community impact projects.

What we are looking for:

o NQT / QTS / KS4
o Experience of delivering the GCSE Curriculum
o Experience of working within a Secondary environment within the UK
o Ability to engage and inspire young people
o Experience of tracking pupils progress
