Collections Handler - Mortgage Enforcement - Bristol

An award winning legal practice in Bristol is seeking to appoint a skilled customer services professional to work with customers currently going through home repossession.

The firm are open to full or part time applicants. You must be able to commit to working Fridays and one late evening a week until 6.30pm.

You will be contacting customers at key stages throughout the litigation process to gain contact to discuss the situation.

You will be working very closely with the customers to understand their financial responsibilities with a view to finding payment solutions on their accounts whilst working through the 5 key stages with proactive outbound calls and inbound calls to establish and maintain contact with the customers and related account information.

You will also be responsible for negotiation of settlements with customers and monitor payment arrangements.

As an experienced customer services agent, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage complex calls, dealing with sensitive client matters.

You will be able to:

  • Display effective telephone communication skills with the ability to empathise and relate to the sometimes emotive conversations that take place with customers.
  • Successfully build rapport with customers and negotiate affordable arrangements that will be maintained.
  • Demonstrate previous experience of dealing with customers via telephone within credit control, customer service, customer account management within a financial or professional services environment.
