Senior Trust and Statutory Fundraising Officer
An exciting opportunity to join a leading national charity. This role will see you take the lead on developing new sources of support from major Charitable Trusts and Statutory sources and maintaining strong relationships with existing supporters.

To be responsible for developing funding applications that support the identified activity and budgeted costs of the business plan.
To be responsible for submitting high quality, well researched applications that meet funding priorities within the submission deadline.
To be responsible to develop and send out quarterly mailings.
To work closely with service managers and internal departments to ensure that all funding proposals are accurately costed, planned and resourced.
To be aware of the reporting requirements of major Trusts and Foundations and to be responsible for providing accurate and timely responses to their requests.
To be responsible for managing existing relationships with major Trusts and Foundations to ensure that funders are aware of project performance and receive regular updates.
To be responsible for cultivating new support and interest through research, networking, mailings, events, face to face and telephone communication and the websites, journals and publications of the sector.
To be responsible for maintaining accurate, up to date records of fundraising activity using paper based systems and the Raisers Edge database.
Proven record of successful applications to major Trusts and Statutory sources
Experience of managing high level relationships with major Trusts and Foundations
Experience of managing the reporting requirements to major Trusts and Foundations
Experience of researching and identifying new Trusts and Statutory funding opportunities
Experience of managing own workload and delivering to deadlines
