A very exciting opportunity has become available for a Qualified Dispensing Optician on a full time, permanent basis with a high end independent chain based in the South West.
I am recruiting currently for a very well established optical company in the Bournemouth area who have an opening.
This independent high street opticians, who have a fantastic reputation for their high quality service, are looking to add to their team by recruiting an Qualified Dispensing Optician to join their practice in the South West area.
An enthusiastic and committed individual is required join one of their practices within the group and occasionally travelling to one of their other practices to cover. Located in an excellent location, my clients attractive practices are equipped to the highest standard and boasts a good support team.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
The ideal candidate will have had experience as an Qualified Dispensing Optician, but the amount of experience is not important. What is important, is your ability to build rapport and converse with patients, while getting involved in the day to day tasks of the store whether that be dispensing, stock taking, answering calls or dealing with problems.
Looking to do (on average) 8 dispenses per day but to provide excellent service whilst doing so, you will be working with all the latest equipment in a relaxed calm environment surrounded by a close knit friendly team
Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
At least 1 year of experience as an Qualified Dispensing Optician ideally within a busy practice. The ability to dispense to all levels. A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic. A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician
For your efforts a competitive salary of up to £30,000 is on offer as well as a bonus scheme (Approx £1,000 per annum). You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.
Working 9:00-5:30 Monday to Saturday – 37.5 hours to include Saturdays, no Sundays or Bank holidays
