Purchase Ledger Controller - This highly successful and long established £30m Retail Supply business in North West London is renowned for looking after its staff and for offering long term opportunities. The company deals with major blue chip retailers as well as suppliers and manufacturers from the Far East. Due to growth, an interesting opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Controller to take responsibility for the all the accounts payable and supplier payment issues within the business.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the position will be the most senior of a team of two in Purchase Ledger. There is responsible for checking and paying a number of stock invoices in the Far East and logistics / freight and utility invoices in the UK. Task will also including batching & coding invoices, payment runs, supplier statement reconciliation and handling supplier queries especially those relating to stock issues. There is a lot of analytical / spreadsheet work and some involvement in other areas of accounts as well.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Controller from a stock based business in a high volume environment. You will also be a strong communicator with good IT skills including Excel. This is a great chance to join a growing stable business as an exciting time of its evolution.
