* Are you passionate about being the category expert?
* And are you looking for a home based role with European travel?

If so, we'd love to hear from you as our client based in Norfolk is looking to recruit an International Category Manager. Reporting into the Head of Category, this home based role will be working as part of a high profile team within a business where category insight drives the business agenda.

Key Responsibilities for the role of International Category Manager:

* Your main responsibility in this role is to understand the category throughout Europe. Know the retailers as well as the range, and the consumer inside out. This will then drive the business agenda to ensure growth to the business on a global scale as well as in the UK.
* Deliver category reviews as well as insight both internally and to the customers.
* Data Interpretation and understanding the consumer in its entirety so the business can drive sales through the right product portfolio.
* Work with the Commercial and NPD Teams to ensure full alignment in the direction of the category / business.

The Successful Candidate for the role of International Category Manager:

* Experience of Category Management and dealing with the major supermarket is essential.
* Ideally this experience will be internationally based but this isn't essential.
* Previous working knowledge of Neilsen, Dunnhumby, Retail Link and similar data sources.
* The ability to travel over the Head Office in Norfolk a couple of times a month and travel across Europe a monthly basis is essential. A clean driving licence will be required for this.
* Highly analytical and the ability to translate data into category reviews and make category recommendations.

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 plus benefits.
