Badenoch & Clark is currently working in partnership with an instantly recognisable company based out of Brighton towards the appointment of a Senior Accountant on a 2 year fixed term basis. You will be a critical part of the senior accounting team and as such, you will be accountable for the collation and development of the financial reporting for the totality of UK entities as required.

Due to the nature of the role, the suitable applicant will hold a professional accountancy qualification, ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
Key Accountabilities:
*Work collegiately with the accounting teams across the business to manage the period, quarter and annual close processes.
*Take charge of the accruals, prepayments and balance sheets.
*Liaise both internally and externally with the audit teams and support their work with clear and delineated documentation.
*Consistently seek to improve processes through personal initiatives.
*Liaise with business partners and other key stakeholders by providing SAP transactional support and analysis.
*Escalate risks within the quarterly balance sheet reviews as appropriate.
*Provide oversight of key balance sheet accounts including payroll, pension, and accrued taxes.
Essentials:
*Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent).
*Significant demonstrable experience within a similar role.
*Knowledge and experience of US GAAP and IFRS.
*Familiarity with SAP/ HFM.
*Proficient user of MS Office, especially Excel.
*Exemplary communicative capacity, both oral and written.
