OK, so you’ve seen a million adverts for Maintenance Technicians lately, so why should you apply for this one?! Well, rather than give you a generic job spec and a list of stuff I want, I’d rather tell you about what’s in it for you first.
A choice of shift pattern
- My client has 2 sections in the maintenance team, one work a 3 shift pattern and the other is continentals.
- 3 Shift Salary is up to £33,500 including shift allowance
- Continentals is up to £38,500 including shift allowance
It’s a busy automotive manufacturing environment so overtime is readily available. People who are team players and do their share of overtime will fit in well here. You’ll also coin it in too as overtime is paid at premium rates!
The company are making continuous improvements to both manufacturing practices and culture. Like many organisations they have lots of people who have been with them for years and were used to doing things a certain way, however, they recognise the need to break the mould and are looking to inject fresh ideas and enthusiasm into the team. Do you have lots of energy, ideas and want to develop? Well this may be a good opportunity to develop a career and progress up the ladder.
It's pretty standard what I need from you so I’ll keep it brief. I need you to be an apprentice qualified maintenance technician. Multi Skilled with an electrical bias, hopefully with PLC fault finding skills and experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment such as automotive or FMCG.
If this sounds refreshing and interesting please send me an application indicating if you prefer 3 shifts or continentals and I’ll take it from there!
