Your new company
Your new team are a Chartered Surveying and Architectural Design practice, based in the idyllic location of Arundel in West Sussex. Their project work spans across the South East but with the main focus being in Sussex. This well established, small but ambitious team, work with a wide range of clients on a variety of property types, from large Listed Building renovations to small but bespoke private developments. There is a family feel to the practice and they benefit form an outstanding local reputation with an enviable and diverse client base.
Your new role
You will be immediately responsible for carrying out a mix of RICS Homebuyer and Building Surveys across Sussex as your core role. However there is ample opportunity to be involved in Projects and exercise any experience you may have in areas such contract administration, party wall, dilapidations, Listed Building consent and planning permissions. As a Senior Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in helping to both maintain existing relationships with clients and helping to develop new business. You will be a valued and much needed addition to the team, to help cope with the increasing workload currently being generated.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be MRICS qualified with previous experience of carrying out Homebuyers and Building surveys in particular. Any experience with project management, specification writing, or acting as contract administrator would be of considerable advantage. You will need impeccable communication both written and verbal, a sense of humour and a real hunger to demonstrate being a team player. You should have a passion for providing exemplary client service and a demonstrable ability to build rapport with clients and co-workers alike.
