Home based (North of England)

Salary - £50k OTE uncapped

Our client are a market leader in the supply of security products into the hospitality and allied sectors supplying to both new build and replacement/refurbishment market in such as 5* hotels, hostels, student accommodation, military accommodation and serviced apartments.

As a result of significant success and a re-structuring of responsibilities, we are seeking to recruit a suitable individual into the role of Area Sales Manager - Hotels. Your role will be responsible for direct sales to the hotel market covering the northern area which includes Scotland. Ideal locations might include such as Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds etc but all locations considered.

In addition to some of the sales type characteristics shown below, you will also have the following:

* A technical aptitude (extensive training is given but must have the ability to learn new technologies)
* Be computer literate with knowledge of network technologies/requirements, LAN/WAN environments, routing, TCP/IP, and components.
* Be able to manage relationships, at a regional level, with contractors, architects, developers, owners and operators.

So what else do we look for?

* You will be a known achiever in selling into the Hotel Sector (ideally) preferably with a focus on security products.
* Three years minimum experience in sales and business development management, including responsibility for key accounts.
* In-depth knowledge of the Hotel market, or similar markets.
* Willingness to travel around the UK & Ireland with clean driving record.
* Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
* Must have a successful history of managing and growing sales revenues.
* Must have a demonstrated track record of working under minimal direct supervision.

* Strong business and technical aptitude.

* Strong and effective presentation and communication skills, whether one-on-one, in public settings, or via written media.

Good basic salary with excellent uncapped commission
