This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing construction firm, specialised in highspecification,
residential projects with a strong focus on customer engagement and service.
You will be working in a small, dedicated professional team, within a very diverse role. The
successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in efficiently managing several
building projects and implementing and managing systems and procedures, as well as
achieving results through people. You will also need to be proficient in procurement both
materials and tradesman as well as subcontractors and consultants. Its essential that you
have a flexible approach to work that will allow the role to develop with the growing needs
of the company. The areas covered by the role are Project Management, Quantity and
Quality Surveying, Operations, Procurement, H&S, HR, Legal and Admin.
As a Construction Manager you are taking on a senior and pivotal role where you will be
responsible for the overall projects delivery, site efficiency and quality standards. It is
expected that you will be able to hit the ground running and be able to run the company’s
systems and procedures smoothly and effectively, translating into client satisfaction and
company profits.
There is a great deal of responsibility and that means intense pressure to perform well every
day. Your work is critical to the company success and also to the good performance of
several teams and individuals, so it can be stressful.
As part of the Management Team you will be working full-time doing standard office hours
(8.30am to 5.30pm), but overtime in evenings and at weekends may be necessary,
especially during big projects, exhibitions or periods of change
