Senior Quality Engineer working for a well established engineering company in South Yorkshire

Your new company
Your new company are a well established business that design and manufacture magnetic systems and equipment for a number of different sectors. They are now looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join the team to ensure that current products meet the correct standard.

Your new role
In your new role you will be reporting into the operations manager and be responsible for all quality management. Your main responsibility will be to ensure all products meet the required standard and are consistent with both internal and external requirements. You will maintain and improve the quality and quality systems in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. You will also manage the teams current workload and ensure the departments KPIs are met.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you will need to have a degree/HNC in mechanical engineering and ideally be lead auditor trained. You will need to be competent in providing technical advice on metrology issues and have a good working knowledge and application of quality investigations and report writing. You will also need to be able to read engineering drawings and have a good understanding of geometrical tolerancing.
