My client are looking for a HR Assistant to come on board and join their established team. The ideal candidate will have office experience, HR and Payroll experience will be a particular advantage. Completing the company payroll on a monthly basis will be an important part of the role as well as recruitment. They will need to be happy to conduct interviews and liaise with agencies.

This role would be a good opportunity for someone who is considering a career in HR or someone who wants to gain more experience.


* Run the monthly payroll including preparation, delivery and completion of all required reporting.
* Staff recruitment procedure, including pre and post-recruitment administration, liaising and negotiating with recruitment agencies, interviewing candidates and assisting with the selection process.
* Maintain the organisation structure for the company and ensure that the up to date structure is published on the intranet
* Administration of the company's defined contribution pension scheme.
* Carry out tasks required for staff administration including the maintenance of HR records such as sickness, salary reviews and contract amendments.
* Ensure that correct procedures are followed for Leavers.
* Produce management information on headcount, compliance with the Training and competence scheme etc.
* Help to arrange training where required.
* Organise the annual staff survey.
* Maintain the structure of the Disaster Recovery portal.
* Arrange celebratory lunches and gifts for employees reaching landmark dates in their careers.
* Administer the private health scheme, liaising with the scheme broker and management as necessary.
* Provide assistance to management as necessary in general HR matters.
* Arrange the annual influenza vaccination.
* Respond to general employee enquiries.
* Run the staff induction process.
* Ensure that requirements for probationary reviews, supervision records and probationary reviews are being met. Ensure all requirements for new employees are being met.
* Any other HR administrative tasks as required or directed.
