The Role – Territory Sales Engineer, Scientific, Life Sciences & Industrial Microscopy

This market-leading organisation is now seeking to recruit a highly committed and enthusiastic individual to join their Scientific Microscopy Sales team to promote their growing portfolio of scientific / life sciences Instrumentation.

Following an intensive training program, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of scientific microscopy equipment sales, demonstrating products to prospective customers and providing training to users. Additional duties will include the manning & running of training courses and exhibitions throughout the UK. There is a requirement to use and maintain a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database effectively as part of the role.

Your Background – Territory Sales Engineer, Scientific, Life Sciences & Industrial Microscopy

Applications are welcome from individuals from a wide range of backgrounds. Previous sales experience is not a prerequisite, as full training will be provided.

Applicants of particular interest are mostly likely to come from a life sciences / scientific or industrial capital equipment sales environment, or from a general engineering or scientific background with the desire to move into a more commercial customer facing technical sales role.

Scientists or engineers with experience of working with Microscopy will be of particular interest, although applications are welcome from technical or scientific professionals from a wide range of industry sectors, as the most important prerequisite is the desire to move into a commercial sales role.

You will need to be well organised, an excellent relationship builder and potential regional sales manager, with a good attention for detail, with the ability to ‘up-sell’ and to work autonomously in a field based sales capacity.
