Credit Risk Business Analyst

Salary: Up to £45,000pa plus competitive annual bonus

Working Hours: 35 hours per week Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

Our Credit Risk Team is the foundation of our business and their work is key to our success.

Based in the heart of the Cardiff City Centre, in our state of the art brand new building, the Credit Risk Business Analyst will play a key role to enable business change in the MotoNovo Credit Risk division and have responsibility for developing change requests as well as effectively managing a range of difference stakeholders. The Credit Risk Business Analyst will represent the Credit division on all credit related projects and also play an active role in liaising with the IT department on quality assurance during implementation Our aimdevelop the most capable credit risk team to assist MotoNovo on its expansion journey.

Responsibilities:

·Act as credit-technology liaison, aligned to specific functional areas and manage business change across the system development lifecycle.

·Manage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders

·Document all business requirements and functional specifications to suppliers/technical teams

·Bridge the knowledge gap between credit, business and technical teams to facilitate key deliverables and resolve issues

·Work with IT to produce high-level solution designs for credit and pricing related projects

·Ensure change is delivered to specifications by tracing specs to requirements as well as testing coverage

·Carry out investigations and exploratory work for issues, queries and problems.

·Manage requirements and discovery workshops

·Challenge requirements and supplier solutions to maximize efficiency and deliver value

·Proactively highlight risks/issues with a project or BAU activities

·Support testing of new functionality/fixes to systems/processes and ensure adherence to an appropriate and rigorous testing and release process

·Monitor system changes post implementation to ensure performance matches expectations

This is a full time and permanent position. The working hours will be 35 hours per week Monday-Friday 9am-5pm however, flexibility is essential to ensure that business demands are achieved.

Person Specification

  • Educated to degree standard or equivalent (e.g. Management of Information Systems, computer science)
  • Understanding of the ITIL Methodology

·Some training in Business Analysis practices.

·Experience in business analysis

·Experience in project management in an IT environment

·Working in a 24 x 7 high availability environment with strong customer and result orientation

·A strong focus on service delivery and customer satisfaction

·Self-starter, self-motivated, self-sufficient and foster 'trusted advisor’ relationships with the business

·Strong functional understanding of the systems supported and the development framework for customization

·Communication skills and the ability to present complex concepts in a simple logical manner, both technical and business terms

·Works well under pressure and to deadlines and can use own initiatives

·Logical analysis and trouble-shooting skills

·Problem solving and resourceful methodical thinking

·Good organization and planning skills and attention to detail

·Flexible to change, motivated and enthusiastic
