An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Sales and MI Analyst to report into the Finance Director.

Duties will include;

* To provide performance and commercial reporting for the commercial team and operational sales team.
* To provide guidance, assistance and support to enable the publication of ad-hoc reporting and amendments to existing reporting.
* To help drive revenue growth through data analysis and insight.
* To provide thought leadership and expert consultancy to support / initiate the design, running and analysis of sales incentives in order to optimise the effectiveness of the sales process.
* To monitor the development and delivery of sales and customer satisfaction strategies in conjunction with operations and client requirements.
* To conduct regular audits of the implementation of the strategy to ensure it is being followed as specified and to report out on findings.
* To implement internal and external best practices into the sales strategy which lead to improved sales performance and profit. To ensure sales strategies are clearly defined, documented and delivered.
* To deliver analysis on effectiveness of strategies to the Operations Manager.
* To manage the sales systems and support IT with incidents
* Accountabilities and Activities
* Monitor revenue and KPI trends through the creation and maintenance of reporting.
* Calculate, forecast and distribute targets with justification and guidance.
* Assist with the creation and implementation of sales incentives to improve profitability and performance.
* Produce ad-hoc analysis and project work upon request.
* Assist the commercial team with forecasting and performance analysis.
* Provide analysis and reporting to the client as requested.
* Assist with data for client presentations / QBR's.
* Provide analysis for agency face-to-face meetings as required.
* Raise cases to add functionality to Discovery and report errors.
* Ensure documented sales strategies and processes are adhered to.
* Advise and consult on future system changes to maximise efficiency of strategies and procedures.
* Produce historical data and analysis for use in forecasting and statistical modelling.
* Identify and report any potential performance issues.
* Use analytical reporting tools including Salesforce, SQL along with the use of the Google suite, including Docs, Sheets.
* Participate in and support internal and external audits and regulatory visits.
* Support the sales and marketing team with insight for new client bids

Qualifications Knowledge and experience

* Proven Analytical Skills.
* Operational experience of Salesforce and its reporting solution.
* Sales experience and knowledge of sales best practices.
* Ability to interpret information provided in a timely manner.
* Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
* Work as part of a team.
* Ability to negotiate, influence, build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, operational teams and other support functions
* Excellent communication, negotiation and listening skills with the ability to quickly build rapport.
* Good decision-making, relationship management, communication and problem solving skills.
* PC literate (Keyboard skills, Microsoft Office applications, SAS & Business Objects etc)
* Working with limited supervision - self motivation and ability to prioritise and manage own workload
* Understanding of OFCOM regulations, CCA, DPA and other regulations that cover the sales industry.
* Experience of SQL and/or Javascript is preferred, but not required.

Judgement Skills

* The jobholder will be expected to carry out changes to the sales strategies and systems and to report on their effectiveness. The jobholder will also be responsible for ensuring the agreed sales strategies are implemented by both the system and the staff within the unit - reporting out on any anomalies.
* Build relationships with clients to ensure their expectations are met and that the sales strategy performs in line with these.
* Analyse the performance of existing strategies and make recommendations to the Strategy Manager regarding possible changes and enhancements.
* The job holder will be required to adhere to policies and processes.

* The job holder will manage their own time and priorities have the freedom to work remotely as required.
* The job holder will be empowered to raise potential improvements to process and cost savings through their line manager and the operational manager.
* The job holder should adhere to client, regulatory and Capita Policies and Procedures.
* The job holder will need to be self-driven, assertive, self-motivated and resourceful.


* The job holder will be expected to oversee the performance of the Sales portfolio and to identify and report on trends through data analysis

* There will be face to face meetings required with the client, line manager, project managers and directors.


* The job holder will have the ability to be able to work in a dynamic environment and be adaptable to change whilst working in a compliant manner.
* They will be dealing with multiple tasks and requests from both internal and client sources, delivering numerous tasks to agreed timescales and quality standards.
