Position: PHP Developer 
Location: London Bridge 
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent 
Salary: Up to £40k

About the role: 

An exciting opportunity has become available for a mid-level PHP Web Developer to join their IT team based in their London office in London Bridge. 

Reporting to the IT and Development Manager, the successful candidate will be a key part of the development team creating their financial websites, white label and data solutions for end users and business customers. 

About you: 

- Significant experience using PHP, PHP frameworks, SQL, JavaScript and JQuery. 
- Strong PHP knowledge with full stack, front and back end development experience. 
- LAMP stack experience (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP). 
- A strong understanding of computing fundamentals such as OOP (inheritance, composition). 
- A good understanding of Javascript and JQuery. 
- Good problem-solving and analytical abilities. 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
- Familiarity with Linux environments: Bash, Daemons, command line tools. 
- Is creative and data driven. 
- Object oriented PHP 5.3+; MySQL; JavaScript; XHTML; CSS; XML; JSON. 

It would be an advantage to be familiar with the following frameworks: 

- Zend Framework 1 & 2. 
- PHPUnit. 
- Doctrine. 
- Composer. 
- Smarty. 
- jQuery. 
- Wordpress. 
- Third party APIs provided by the likes of Google, Facebook and Twitter. 

You may have experience of the following: PHP Developer, MySQL, Linux, LAMP, Front End Development, JavaScript, Web Developer, WordPress, PHP Programmer, Front End Developer, Software Engineer etc.
