Presales Support in IT Security Consulting

London with Regular UK Travel

Our client is a division of a well-established, niche provider of specialist IT security consulting services and software products with a client list consisting of FTSE 100 companies and Government departments. With UK and overseas offices, they are world leaders in many of the technology areas they operate in and are growing at over 30% pa. As part of their continued expansion, and to capitalise on demand for their services, they now wish to hire an additional Presales Consultant.

The Presales Consultant will provide support to both clients and sales teams, helping them to understand the key technical issues and to develop the solutions to be delivered. He or she will provide product support and service demonstrations both in person and via web links and will help the bidding team respond to RFIs. The Presales Consultant will be a key point of contact for clients and will become a trusted partner, often working at "C" level to offer strategic thinking and advice.

The successful candidate will have excellent customer-facing skills gained in an IT, presales or sales environment. He or she will be based in London but must be prepared to travel to other UK sites on a regular basis. Technical background can be varied as full training will be provided, but a good understanding of IT products and services will be required. Above all candidates will need to be passionate team players, able to blend their skills with my client’s existing world-class capabilities.
