We are looking for a Construction Manager with a mechanical bias and a NEBOSH Certificate, ASAP for a 12 months++ contract in the Preston area. This will suit someone with experience of the construction site management of demolition and new-build, Industrial process plant facility projects. Pay rate of £35-40 Ltd or Umbrella pay rate per hour, or the PAYE equivalent if preferred.

Working as the successful Construction Manager, your experience will include:

*CSE (Confined Space Entry).

*Permits To Work experience (PTW issuer experience would be an advantage, but is not essential).

*Asbestos awareness.

*Safety passport preferred, or would need to be obtained prior to starting.

It would be an advantage if your experience includes all of the below, but all of these are not essential:

*Gas monitoring and recording results.

*Walk site, identify hazards, speak to Client Site HSE and identify other site hazards.

*Carry out audits on contractors.

*Quality management of contractors, inspect work and report defects, welding, piping, pressure test of lines, coil witness and record.

*Manage NTD radiation source on site and issue permits.

*Identify and manage site interface issues with HSEQ.

*Attend daily morning site HSE Meetings.

*Attend daily 2.00pm meetings CCR.

*Attend Weekly project meeting.

*Review lift plans.

*Waste management order skips, tracking, monitoring.

*Organise all required asbestos surveys for projects and ensure onsite notifications / location awareness.

*Organise road closures on site.

*Banks man for wagon and plant movements during road closure.

*Review contractor RAMS and Risk Assessments.

*Review contractors COSHH.

*Review monthly valuations.

*3 day look ahead, contractors.

*2 week look ahead, contractors.
