Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 plus car/allowance and package

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate to apply themselves to one of the UK's market leaders in New Build Housing Solutions and Community Regeneration.

The main purpose of this role is to manage a designated project on site and achieve the target contributions in accordance with the contract documents and programme; ensuring that the project is delivered safely, on time, to a high standard of quality and with high levels of client/resident satisfaction.

To assist the Contracts Manager with pre-start details
To report to the Project / Contracts Manager on the progress against the programme
To ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety aspects. Fully understand the company's SHEQ policy/strategy.

Maintenance of company required Health & Safety procedures / initiatives, including:
* Site Inductions
* Management of Method Statements/Risk Assessments
* Undertake a thorough review of all subcontractors RAMS to ensure they have identified all foreseeable risks and implemented suitable controls
* Obtain all risk assessments from contractors
* To obtain sub-contractors Health & Safety policies prior to their work commencement
* Identify training needs
* Maintain statutory registers, including accident reporting
* Work Permits
* Scaffold/Lifting equipment inspections
* In house audits / inspections
* Site house keeping

Adherence to the Company quality standards including:
* Management of defects
* Fully understand the Construction Phase Plan Requirements, including it's development
* Compliance with specification
* Compliance with materials / workmanship schedules
* Subcontractor code of conduct
* Considerate Constructors Scheme

Coordination / Leadership of the site team, inclusive of:
* Assistant Managers
* Resident Liaison Officers
* Administrators
* Sub-Contractors
* Other site operatives

The Candidate:
* Previous Site management experience - ideally with Decent Homes / Residential / Major Build / Regeneration
* Up-to-date relevant knowledge of building legislation
* Up-to-date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
* Ability to fully operate Microsoft Project
* Excellent organisational skills
* Financial and commercial awareness
* Effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines
* Professional attitude and approach to work
* Ability to competently operate MS office (Word & Excel)
* Current and Valid UK driving license
