Seeking a Junior Facilities Manager to join a commercial property consultancy.

Your new company
Hays Facilities Management are seeking a Junior Facilities Manager to join the Facilities Department of a commercial property consultancy within the Southampton area.

Your new role
Working closely with the Senior Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient day to day facilities management service to both clients and customers specifically based on a large science park site. Here, you will undertake a number of responsibilities with some of these including; providing an effective response to customer and client queries. Carrying out regular checks around the facility, ensuring the building is in good working order. Liaising with building contractors to follow through approved work. Other general duties will also be expected such as carrying out health and safety audits, attending monthly meetings and providing support to the Senior Facilities Manager as required.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed within the role, you will hold significant experience within Facilities Management, including Soft Services Delivery, Health and Safety, and basic Technical knowledge. In addition to this you will possess excellent verbal and written customer communication skills, organisational skills and an attention to detail. Knowledge of IT at an intermediate level is also desirable.
