Working for one of the Uk's largest suppliers of construction materials, you will be working as a Static Plant Foreman Fitter.
The position will be working nights, which incorporates 16 contracted weekends.
You will have previous engineering experience working on a range of heavy duty static plants.
The successful candidate will require a strong H&S focus.
As a Foreman Fitter the Job Role would Include:
Maintain Health & Safety To HSE & Company Standards Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduling servicing in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations.
Attend asset breakdowns and effect repairs to ensure minimum down time.
Trouble shoot and fault find any defects on machines and carry out repairs as necessary.
Communicate necessary repairs to site management and external contractors.
Utilisation of a small working team and contractors.
Maintain & Exceed Workshop Targets & Efficiencies.
Work Well Under Pressure Requirements - Applicants must have excellent organisation and communication skills with a good understanding of health and safety legislation.
Ideally you will be apprentice trained in construction/agricultural plant maintenance or be a time served mechanical fitter.
Competent knowledge of static screens, crushers, hydraulics and pneumatics. Ability to diagnose faults on heavy construction equipment and carry out repairs.
Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
A relatively good understanding of I.T. The ability to work flexibly, which will include shutdown weekends.
