A fantastic and exciting new opportunity had arisen to join a global, well-known brand as an Event Manager. As the Event Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Senior Projects Manager to deliver successful projects and account manage clients to ensure repeat business and brand enhancement. In addition, you will provide support the country managers and manage all aspects of post-sale activities, including:

  • Liaising with the RMT and Global Marketing in global offices to support clients with enquiries about records, guidelines and brand usage sign off.
  • Ensuring that record campaigns are set up, managed and delivered to a first-class standard.

Your role will be made up of 4 sections; Event Management, Account Management, Project Management and Producer.

Your key responsibilities as Event Manager:

  • Clarifying the overall aims and objectives of the event
  • Ensuring that health, safety and insurance regulations are followed
  • Create risk assessments for live events
  • Research venues, contacts and suppliers
  • Hire, train, and educate staff on proper event procedures
  • Attend and manage Live events
  • Generating ideas
  • Planning budgets and timescales

Your key responsibilities as Account Manager:

  • Oversee the delivery of the client’s brief to the highest standard
  • Managing the lifecycle of managing the trademark use sign off with Global Marketing
  • Maintaining record of measurements/case studies of RMT Commercial department/projects
  • Creating/Managing scope of work and budgets for the projects
  • Enlisting internal/external resource as necessary and managing deliverables
  • Reporting and keeping time line schedules and records of all projects
  • Collecting and managing feedback from customers to be used to improve our processes
  • Streamline process by which commercial engages the project team

Your key responsibilities as Project Manager:

  • Maintain strong relationship with key accounts throughout the life cycle of a project and beyond
  • To ensure clients have a comprehensive understanding of RMT Commercial product range
  • Building strong client/supplier/agency/trade press relationships
  • Manage partnership relations with Events Agencies across territories
  • Train new partners on the GWR brand and monitor quality of their delivery
  • Review contracts and operational process for new deals with Commercial
  • Assist commercial pre-sale with client project operations

Your key responsibilities as Producer:

  • Executive Produce events for the RMT Commercial portfolio including: Team Build Challenge, Challenge Fair, Custom live events and shows
  • Ensuring the quality and integrity of the GWR brand is maintained
  • The successful delivery of RMT Commercial projects (internal and client perception)
  • Training of partners in GWR products and live events
  • Create training videos for commercial projects
  • Training and product education of international offices in above products (Japan, US, China)
  • Keep designs up to date with brand guidelines (i.e. in-a-minute and team challenge)
  • Develop an online portal for clients to access manuals and collateral
  • Ensuring the quality and integrity of the GWR brand is maintained
  • To ensure clients have a comprehensive understanding of GWR product range
  • Coordinate with the appropriate Records Manager to provide guidelines and rules for Adjudicated records to be attempted in the designated territory.
  • Obtain all necessary record related information from RMT to be able to adjudicate the record attempts professionally.
  • Managing the relationship with other adjudicators who may attend the record attempt, providing them with all necessary information about the event.
  • Represent and protect the integrity of the GWR brand in interviews, press conferences, record attempts.
  • Strictly follow crisis management procedures.
  • Report regularly to the Country Manager about the service developments in the assigned territory.
  • When requested helping to process public claims (sending guidelines, rejections and all kind of information about records) and research into specific record categories.
