Our client is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families, and provides them with clinical, practical, emotional and financial support. You can be a part of helping them cope with cancer and get the most out of life. 

Position: Corporate Account Manager- JD Wetherspoon 
Location: London / Hammersmith 
Hours: 35 Hours

Salary: £25,000 per annum

About the role: 

It is our client's mission to ensure that everyone under 25 with cancer, and their families, get the support they need to thrive, not just survive. As part of their Team, you will have a fundamental role in helping them to deliver on their promise to support young people and their families to deal with the effects of cancer, both during and beyond treatment. 

An exciting vacancy has arisen within the Corporate Partnerships Team, to help maximise income raised by companies supporting the charity. This specific role will be part of the team working on the corporate partnership with J D Wetherspoon and will report to the Lead Account Manager responsible for the partnership. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for key fundraising events throughout the year including the annual staff five a-side football tournament and national darts tournament. The role will involve writing engaging communications, coming up with exciting monthly fundraising ideas for 900 pubs and creating bespoke marketing materials. 

The successful candidate will need to provide creative input into the J D Wetherspoon Charity Partnership, the wider account management team and work right across the whole charity to ensure the partnership with J D Wetherspoon is maximised to the full – meeting partnership KPIs and bringing as much benefit as possible to the children, young people and families they support. 

The ideal candidate would have a proven track record of successful account management or customer service, preferably in a corporate fundraising environment – although this is not essential. They will be able to work well independently and as part of a team and have outstanding organisational skills. They will have excellent interpersonal, relationship management and communication skills, and the passion to enthuse and inspire support.
