An international consultancy and construction company is looking for an experienced Lead Document Controller to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work with an award-winning company on an extremely high-profile project. Your role will involve managing the integrity and accuracy of the common data environment whilst growing the capacity of the document control function within the project.

Duties include:

  • Implement document control system for the Programme (Assure)
  • Develop and deliver information management policies, processes and procedures across the project programme
  • Deliver training and user guides to teams including project teams on how to use the CDE
  • Review the information management function to deliver ongoing service improvement and the maintenance of quality standards
  • Ensure all information is exchangeable, available and can be used by the relevant individuals
  • Support the development of the Employers Information Requirements (EIR) for all projects as required
  • Member of the Programme Management Office (PMO) team, also working closely with the BIM and Design Lead
  • Ensure that an effective document management process is developed and implemented
  • Ensure all parties adhere to information protocols in place to drive consistency and efficiency
  • Contribute to corporate initiatives to develop service improvement and business efficiency
  • Link to the BIM agenda and ensuring alignment of the Common Data Environment to other information requirements

Skills required:

  • 5 years + experience of document management
  • 5 years + experience working on large infrastructure projects/programmes
  • Experience of BIM on large infrastructure projects/programmes
