INSTRUCTOR STANDARDS MANAGER REQUIRED FOR AN IMMEDIATE START!! BASED IN COVENTRY £30,000 - £32,000 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

My client is a well known national organisation and due to expansion they are now looking to recruit an experienced Standards Manager to join the business. The role is pivotal for the organisation as it will be managing the Instructor Network, Assessors and External Quality Assurers. The ideal applicant should have experience of working within Internal Quality Assurance ensuring national standards are maintained and put action plans in place should instructors not deliver the levels expected. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding business, this role is very operational and offers potential for progression.

[ The role ]

- Identify Instructor/Assessor/EQA requirements and develop/implement a strategy to meet these requirements
- Ensure that Instructor/assessor recruitment is effective and efficient
- Set targets ad monitor rolling programme of risk based quality assurance across the Instructor Network to ensure that Instructors/Assessors continue to meet required standards and are perceived as "high quality" by the industry.
- Ensure effective systems and processes existing to support all activity
- Manage the database to ensure instructor/assessor data is up to date and complete
- Create and maintain the instructor network standards and all associated documents
- Undertake regular communications, events and other activities to engender a strong sense of belonging amongst the instructor network and inspire brand loyalty
- Responsible for development and quality assurance budget

- Excellent project management
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office 2010 applications
- Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent standard of literacy and numeracy
- Excellent listening skills
- Understanding of QA processes
- Knowledge of relevant industries/sectors is desirable
- Knowledge of assessment methodologies
- Knowledge of the UK qualification regulation system
- Experience of Quality Assurance is essential
- Experience of managing Key Stakeholders/Customers
