Business Development Executive (telecoms sector)
Salary:Base Salary of £25k+ (depending on experience) plus £10K+ OTE on top (uncapped)

We are currently representing a very successful client within the telecoms industry who are rapidly expanding. Based in Central London, they are market leaders in SIM distribution and mobile accessories across the UK, winning various prestigious industry awards over the past 10 years.
Over the last 12 months in particular, this client has seen significant growth both in turnover and workforce with their business streams also rapidly expanding - making this a very exciting and prosperous business to work for.

The Role - Business Development Executive (Central London):

The client are looking for a tenacious Business Development Executive to join as an integral part of this telecoms business, responsible for developing their international markets and accounts. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for winning new accounts for B2B sales, having access to inbound tourists and students in international destinations who will benefit from selling UK mobile SIMs and other tourist products and services. You will also be responsible for managing existing small and medium sized accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify potential new accounts within the tourist and international student sectors and plan approaches and pitches to help establish contact with potential new accounts and win new business with partners from travel, education and online platforms for UK SIM products
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by ensuring there is regular and structured contact with existing accounts, and present new products and services (ie mobile accessories, top up solutions, handsets etc) to these accounts to increase revenue and strengthen the relationship.
• Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on current business activities and trends within the tourist and international student sectors that could generate growth opportunities.
• Attend industry functions to help provide feedback and information on market and creative trends and to build relationships which could generate new accounts.
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and pilot new channel opportunities that will help Core expand its business.
• Work closely with the in-house design team to help create and execute the creative required for various campaigns/projects

Skills Required:

- Previous B2B sales/business development experience, with a proven sales track record
- Previous account management experience
- Ability to open doors and build effective and lasting business relationships
- Good oral and written communications skills with a high level of written English
- A strong influencer and negotiator
- Able to work on own initiative and to prioritise/multitask effectively
- Prior experience and exposure within telecoms would be preferred but not essential
- Educated to degree level is again preferred but not essential
