Dean Healthcare are currently recruiting a Registered Manager, for one of our well-established clients in Swindon. The company would also consider a Deputy Manager, or nurse with the view to train them to become manager. A nurse could also do nursing shifts to keep their pin active.

The role is managing a 41-bed residential/nursing home, ran over 2 floors. The home opened in 2000, it provides residential care, day care and respite care, including 24-hour care for people living with dementia. Parts of the home have recently been refurbished.

The home is well-staffed, with unit leaders, seniors and care assistants.

Whomever is successful will have a full induction to the company, and be well supported by the operations manager and managers of the company’s other homes, with regular meetings.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
• Producing staff rotas ensuring the Home is covered by the minimum requirement of staff
• Help with the formulation of social and health care plans for new residents and attend any resident reviews and closely monitor any outcome or changes required.
• To ensure that the personal care needs of residents are met by all staff, at all times
• New staff members induction to the home
• To ensure that the home is ran in full compliance with CQC regulations
• Organise and participate in staff meetings, staff training and development activities
• To oversee the recruitment for the home
• To maintain all log books, audits and records as required by the Care Quality Commission and the National Care Standards Act 2000
• To oversee the electronic care plan system
• To adhere strictly to the Policies and Procedures of the Home

Salary: £34,000 to £40,000, dependant on experience
