My client is a Leading blue chip business, involved in some of the most high profile buildings in the UK and Globally

They are expanding their operations, and therefore require an IT Service desk analyst to join them on a permanent basis. You will primarily be responsible for supporting all aspects of the company's desktop computing environments.

The successful applicant will be a self starter with excellent interpersonal and organisation skills, and must have recent, practical experience in providing unaided technical support for a number of technologies in a demanding environment. Candidates should be able to demonstrate an ability to troubleshoot problems under pressure.

Main Responsibilities:

- Using call management system to record incidents, service requests and

- Ensure customers are kept informed regarding ongoing incidents

- Provide technical support for all computer and printer related faults and queries

- Work towards achieving agreed SLA’s

- Build packaged applications for deployment following assessment

- Commission and support of desktop, laptop and tablet hardware

- Continuously improve desktop, laptop and tablet images and keep up to date with security patches and O/S versions and regular auditing where applicable

- Active Directory and Exchange administration of joiners and leavers, including regularly creating, deleting and updating user accounts and permissions

- Input into contract discussions of any new suppliers


- Windows 7 / 10

- Anti Virus systems (Symantec ideally)

- Group Policy Editor

- Application discovery and packaging

- Exchange and Outlook administration

- Active Directory account administration

- Microsoft Office 2007 onwards
