Sheridan Maine are working with a market leading Retail business to recruit a Payroll Assistant to join their team. The business has recently undergone dramatic change and expansion, with further plans for growth and acquisitions.

This is a busy and varied Payroll Assistant role and key duties will include:

- Processing monthly Payroll and timesheets.
- New Starter and Leavers administration.
- Assisting the Payroll Manager with preparation of Payroll BACS.
- Producing, collating and distributing payslips and P45's.
- Dealing with Payroll queries relating to SSP, SMP, SPP, P45, P46 and Tax and statutory queries.
- Company Pension scheme.
- Inputting, updating and amending records including absence and sickness records.

Experience required:

- Previous Payroll experience.
- Excellent administration and communication skills.
- A flexible and positive attitude.
- The ability to work under pressure.
