Spares Manage required for key and exciting position with my client who are a global leader in the design and manufacture of machinery for the food industry.  Supplying turnkey solutions to the majority of the worlds leading food manufacturers they have a superb reputation.

Working within the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) team this role will have P & L accountability for an £18 million turnover with plans to increase this to £25 million.

The key aspects of this role are:

- Innovation - a key part of the role is the development and innovation within the spares business, the business is seeking an innovator who can review and add across the spares business. 
- Increasing sales - working with sales and marketing to identify opportunities to convert customers, developing marketing material and managing smooth running of sales office.
- Pricing - Price book management and pricing strategies, management of discounts and discount applications 
- Customer spares journey - Review, update develop and / or revise spare parts business processes including making best use of ERP system and functionality introducing processes and behaviours that positively enhance customer experience when seeking spares by phone, e-mail or e-business.  You will also be responsible for ensuring that any quality issues or complaints are managed with a customer centric approach
- Management / Team development- You will have responsibility for a centralised sales team of a Team Leader, 5 parts co-ordinators and 2 administrators. In addition you will have a dotted line responsibility for people in France, Holland, Russia and UAE You will coach and develop the team.

As Spares Manager you will be based in the EMEA HQ near Birmingham, there is some requirement for travelling to both customer sites and other other facilities.

This role will suit a Spares / Aftermarket Manager seeking an opportunity within a very successful business who wants to play a key part in business growth.

The successful candidate will have the following experience:


- An innovator who can look at different ways for improving the spares offering and customer experience, velocity is key
- Managing a spares turnover in excess of £10 million with a track record of growth
- Managed spares in different global locations.
- Experience working in a matrix environment 
- Knowledge of customs and shipping regulations an advantage.
- Inventory / Materials management an advantage
