Our client based in St Andrews, are currently recruiting for an Event Sales Coordinator to join their team on a full time permanent basis. Your main role will be to contribute to the growth and profitability to this 5 star Resort.

The Event and Sales Coordinator is responsible for dealing with all enquiries, issuing proposals, converting enquiries and sending contracts. You must have strong attention to detail.


* Answer all telephone calls to the events department in a professional manner
* Maintaining current knowledge across the resort and surrounding areas for best advice on all enquiries
* Accurate rate information
* Processing all enquiries and reservations accurately within 24 hours
* Compiling and sending out proposals to a high standard
* Adhering to an effective leads chasing system
* Sending contracts and pro-for-ma invoices and ensuring their return
* Accurate inputting of information of all reservations for bedrooms, meeting space
* Conduct site inspections
* Maintain a close working relationships with the sales team
* Any other duties requested

Sales and Marketing:

* Follow up on sales leads generated by the Sales Executives
* Liaise with colleagues in order to provide possible new leads to gain new bookings
* Maintain up to date accounts
* Maximise revenue where possible
* develop good working relationships with all client
* Attend networking events where applicable
