As a senior manager & business leader you role will be able to provide strong man management strategic leadership to report directly to the UK Head of Manufacturing for Resource & Capability.

Day to day your role will cover everything from identifying and managing future technology road maps to developing manufacture architecture and Supply Chain management.

What we are looking for:
* Development and provision of manufacturing architecture including capability, facilities and resources, which meets or exceeds expectations through demonstrated processes in accordance with the manufacturing development and production budgets.
* Promote and execute concurrent engineering methodologies across associated functions and directorates.
* Develop and implement manufacturing proposals and associated requirements documentation.
* Establishment of tactical Supply Chain. Co-ordination of sub-contractors Production Readiness Reviews, and associated logistics and factory requirements.
* Co-ordination and delivery of production readiness reviews internal/external.
* Evolution and delivery of manufacturing requirements for Test Policy.
* Define and implement appropriate performance measures in particular unit production costs.
* Definition and development of the manufacturing methods and practices as appropriate to the project.
* Ensure industrial feasibility of products, manufacturing architecture definition, industrial work-share.
* Continuous refinement of resource requirements to satisfy production needs in line with evolving design.
* Proactive risk management. Identification, quantification and mitigation of manufacturing risk during development through to production..
* Ensure that the devolved Quality ownership activities are undertaken and operations comply with Quality system (ISO 9000) and project Quality plans.
* Safeguard the Health and Safety of all employees operating within the manufacturing development function in accordance with company processes and current legislation.
* Champion and facilitate the manufacturing management
* Work with projects/Design Authorities to identify and manage future technology road maps & capabilities.
