A fast-moving creative company in Dorset renowned for delivering campaigns both locally and nationally are searching for an IT Support Engineer to provide IT assistance across the business. You will be joining a specialist creative company with a reputation for providing excellent service.
Your new role
You will be part of the IT department (reporting to the Technical Director) supporting and maintaining systems and providing desktop support to all business end-users. From fault resolution to system diagnostics, you will be providing IT assistance across the business. General duties include maintenance of hardware/software (Windows and Apple Architecture), managing the help desk, escalating IT issues, undertaking projects alongside the Technical Director, providing desktop support, deploying new devices, monitoring security updates, patching of networks and setting up new users. No day will be the same and you will receive outstanding training from day one to ensure that you deliver high quality IT Support across the business.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will have a background in IT Support with exposure to Windows OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, HTML/CSS (Basic Knowledge), Networks and ideally, MAC OS. You will be ambitious, have an affinity for technology and will demonstrate flexibility under pressure.
