Our client is an award winning, leading player in the civil engineering and infrastructure sector, delivering world class infrastructure projects.

Working across the rail, highways and energy sectors, they thrive on applying expertise to deliver complex, multi-disciplinary, engineering-led projects.

They currently have an opening for a Project Manager responsible for the execution of a project, or a substantial section of a major project. The Project Manager is expected to build, manage and lead the project team, manage the relationship with the Client, and be responsible for the day to day delivery of the project in terms of cost, value, schedule, safety, quality, environment and stakeholders.

You will have experience as a Section Manager or similar role with responsibility for delivering a section of a project whilst leading a multi disciplined team.

The ability to understand and implement contract mechanisms, manages cost and programme through contemporary data, and able to communicate the project financial and contractual position through written reports and in CVR meetings and puts an effective information management system in place.

Must be able to identify where cost and value can be managed for the overall betterment of the project and build working relationships with Client, JV Partner, Supply Chain and project staff. Plans diary to make time to meet, discuss and resolve issues through regular dialogue.

Highways sector experience and/or rail experience at Project Manager or Engineering Manager level.
