Quantity Surveyor needed for a main contractor in Oxford

Your new company

Is a Regional Main Contractor based in Oxford, they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor. Their projects range in value from £2m - £20 million. They are growing from strength to strength and is offering you the opportunity to grow and progress along with them.

Your new role

As a Quantity Surveyor based in Oxford. You will be expected to work alongside the Procurement and Contract Managers to manage all tender enquiries for subcontractors. Your main function is to increase value, reduce costs, therefore driving profit. You will assess the terms and conditions, incorporating them into documentation which you will then forward to the subcontractor, whilst analysing quotations and utilising these to generate cost plans. You will also be responsible for running monthly cost reports and assist in preparing monthly and annual forecasts.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be Ideally have a QS degree qualified or a relevant qualification. With previous experience working with a main contractor on project value up to £20 million.
