Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 DOE + Car/Travel allowance + Private Healthcare, + Pension, + 25 days holiday

After recently appointing a Lead TWC, our client are now looking to build a TWC team! You will be working on various Rail Infrastructure projects in London and Nationwide.

Our client are a Tier 1 Main Contractor who are immensely busy with a rail framework. Works will include: Station Upgrades, Bridge replacements / renewals and enhancements, general upgrades to infrastructure.

As a TWC you will be allocated to a project and will be responsible for managing the temporary works on site. The successful candidate will have 2 + years experience in a Temporary Works Coordinator role and ideally will have worked on a Rail project.

As a TWC you will be required to:

* Identify temporary works requirements on projects, procurement of temporary works designers in conjunction with the Temporary Works Design function.
* Management of the temporary works design and the implementation of the temporary works solution on site.
* Engage fully with all technical teams and be closely involved in the full temporary works design process from concept, through detailed design stages and onto delivery and aftercare.
* Coordinate all temporary works on site
* Identify any risks during the entire life-cycle (design, construction, loading, dismantling etc…)
* Check the Temp Works design
* Ensure all risk assessments are prepared to ensure safety of TW
* Carry our checks and maintenance of Temp Works
* Issue any permits to load

To do this role you must have:

* BEng, BSc, MEng or MSc level in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline
* Pursuing Chartership
* Demonstrable experience in the management of high value multidisciplinary rail related contracts or significant elements of a high value multidisciplinary project
* Ideally MICE or MCIOB combined with a strong engineering back ground.
* Management of the implementation of significant temporary works on projects
* Significant managerial and technical experience with a fundamental understanding of the design process and particularly the temporary works requirement..
* Demonstrable experience of working within a Construction environment
* Demonstrable experience and technical qualification in HSEQS with regard to construction management (SMSTS or similar)
* Demonstrable and technical experience and competence in the management of temporary works.
* Excellent network and strong reputation within the industry.
