Our client is recruiting an idea generator, a conference producer with a superb skill set who wants to work on this very exciting successful brand and help grow the events even further. This brand already has an established loyal market place, as conference producer you will line manager a junior conference producer and two other team`s members. YOU must have experience of working on Exhibitions this really is key.

It really is an exciting role, the Conference production side will be the key skill however why not learn the Content Management and add another string to your bow, the client is happy for you to learn this part on the job, or perhaps you already have some blogging skills? all the better. You will also need great content to generate the sponsorship sales and work with Sales to keep the sales growing. Finally, we need our producer to be an ideas generator. Ideally you will have 3 years` conference production / exhibitions production expertise, BE able to Travel internationally, and be degree educated, a strong negotiator, and a sales generator.

Key skills required for the role include: Proven research skills using several information sources, attention to detail, time management with an ability to multi-task, good commercial awareness, interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and the ability to make cold calls.

ARE you a great Conference/ Exhibitions producer, want to work on shows with over 20,000 attendees? and to have a real connection and input your own stamp through great blogging then this really is the role for you.

- In-depth research, phone, desk and meetings, viability of topics
- Identifying strengths and weaknesses of competitor`s events through reading brochures, attending, reviewing and speaking to competitive event speakers
- Analysis of multi-source research to put together a complete draft program agenda
- Identifying, contacting and inviting potential speakers, mainly by phone, and recruiting them onto the program. Negotiating Speaker fees and expenses and staying within the budget guidelines set down by Portfolio Director
- To write strong sales and marketing copy in a number of different formats throughout the course of an event`s marketing campaign
- Working with the marketing department to ensure that they are targeting the right market. Writing focused letters to targeted groups of people to promote the event sourcing appropriate media partners, working with the chairman, speakers and sponsors of the conference to get them to promote the event
- To prepare all materials and design briefs for direct mail pieces, including the conference brochure.
- International travel for business development and events
