National Sales Manager – English Sparkling Wine Company

£75,000 + bonus

London and UK

My client is an award winning sparkling wine company and currently the market leader within the category. A true luxury brand.

Due to expansion, they are looking for an exceptional National Sales Manager, who will report to the Global Head of sales and be responsible for building and establishing new distribution, maximising existing sales and managing a sales team

The Role -

* Lead the sales, development and luxury brand positioning in the London On Trade, B2B and Premium Catering
* Drive the sales, development and Luxury brand positioning in London across the Off Trade.
* Identify some new areas of growth
* Overlook the preparation of the Joint Business Plan
* Overlook the development and Luxury brand positioning of Nyetimber across the Travel Retail sector.
* Supervise the creation and development of their E-commerce platform.
* Overall responsibility for managing & developing all channels
* Managing a minimum of 6 different people and being responsible for their continued development, training and professional coaching
* Management of budgets and commercial targets
* Regular reporting to the Global Head of Sales on actions and key achievements
* Maintain accurate database

You -

* An affinity with luxury brands and their positioning
* IT literate – Microsoft / Apple / CRM systems

* Preferable to come from a Wine or champagne background
* Strong On-Trade, Off-Trade and Travel Retail background
* Strong Luxury/ prestige brand-building experience
* Commercial expertise & an entrepreneurial flair
* Analytical, numerate & highly organised
* Strong Time Management skills
* WSET – level 2 or above
* Account management background
